Thursday 5 Dec. Grantville / Dalyston Loop

Start 9.00 am at Granville.  Distance 60+km. Elevation gain 687m. We last did this ride in May this year. Mainly sealed road, the gravel is the rail trail. So pick your weapon. Weather at this stage is max 26 deg with some rain in the arvo. By rights we should leave earlier to avoid this rain but that would upset the sleepy heads in our group.

Thursday ride 28 Nov

Mortimer Pk at 0930, to go to 4 Bros Rock.
No water or Cafe en route, so bring all you need especially water.
Dirt bikes a  must.

Pete & Carols Pad - Narooma !

6 "out of staters" recently assembled at Pete & Carols Pad in Narooma for some adventure days. While the activity is still ongoing (read that Peter can't throw the feeloaders out) some early highlights of cycling, fishing, swimming and bullshitting included -

Three beautiful days of cycling following Pete's meandering leadership through picturesque countryside

Kerri getting stuck in the shower after the water ran out covered only in soapy bubbles (the boys did at least offer to pop the bubbles !)

Pete giving an expert class on how to fillet a fish on the breakfast table with Kirsten taking great interest planning on doing the same to Gavin after he sadly lost his wallet (again) in Sth America

Yvonne being banished to the Boys truck for excessive night time groaning

Yuta's 4 star Glamping set up

Jurgen taking a lead role in the BBQ Sausage Dept - great job

Speaking of sausages , The girls wanting to check out the local studs (Clive) equipment with a personal visit !

A great effort by the boys in the dishwashing dept, maybe some plates still had food on them, maybe some were still glistening with suds and just maybe they the plates etc didnt go back where they belonged but boy were we quick despite Carol yelling at us ha !

With the gang slowly returning to Melbourne many thanks to Pete and Carol for being great hosts and a fab time ! Check out the video

Thursday 31 Oct. The Songs

Start 9.15 at Kallista fire station OR 9.40 at Alfred Nicholas Gardens car park.

Route: Sherbrooke rd. One Tree Hill rd. Outlook track, Tobruk track, 1 in 20 for about 1.5 km, Ferndale track to the Basin / Olinda road. Then most likely up this road to Olinda and back to Sherbrooke rd and Kallista - unless by consensus we decide otherwise. Short ride less than 30 km and about 600+ climbing.
WARNING : there are some short rough patches on Tobruk and Ferndale tracks. May even decide to walk for about 100 metres. So definately gravel or mountain bikes,
