Ride from Toorak Rd carport. Enter off Auburn Rd. 

Meet at 10am to ride into city via Anniversary Trail. 
Looking at doing the Darebin Trail  from city then back to city.  

Haven't done it before so a bit of a Reece ride. 

Around 80 kms, maybe more maybe less. Bring your mikki card just incase

9.00 Bayswater Park. 20% gravel. Coffee at Hahndorf Montrose or The Basin.  Route Bayswater, Croydon, Lilydale Lake, Olinda Crk, Montrose, Sheffield rd to The Basin.

If weather is crap, use your own discretion whether or not you want to rock up.

Reminder - if nothing is blogged for Tuesdays and Thursdays perhaps due to a bad forecast, the default meeting place is Emerald library at 9.00 for the die hards that want to ride anyway.

Ride: Thursday 7th June

After some heavy climbing on the ride to Four Bros Rock on Tuesday, where Werner rode without cleats to fit his pedals and so had to contend with foot slippage throughout the ride, it was decided that a pampering ride was called for. 

(Big thanks to Kerri and Werner who brought food and hot drinks. Just a few extra kilos to carry to help on the hills)

SO. Flatlands, here we come.

Headed via diverse means to Mordialloc. Road bikes ok.

Plan A:

Meet at Gembrook with dirt bikes at 0930. Heading to Ashlanding. It may be a case of the blind leading the blind.

Plan B:

If, when we gaggle at Gembrook, and if someone knows the way, we may drive further to Mortimer Park and ride to 4 Bros. Rock in lieu of Ashlanding.
