Start 9.00 Bayswater Park.  

An easy, shortish, flatfish ride to welcome and facilitate an easy transition for our errant invalids, casualties, holiday indulger, farmer and world traveller back into the fold...... providing they rock up.

Mt. Worth Ride

Tuesday 21st. Warragul / Mt. Worth loop

Start:  Nar Nar Goon station for 8.42 train or if you prefer to drive,  Warragul station 9.16.

Distance 66km but can be considerably shortened. Decide at the time. Elevation about 1000m but that too can be changed depending how we feel on  the day. About 70% asphalt, 30% smooth gravel but that too can change if it has been affected by rain.

Weather for Tuesday looking good.

Thursday 16 th. Becoming a habit

Start 9.30 am  Bayswater Park.  Destination:  Abbotsford Convent

Tuesday 14. Short one - Toolangi

Start:  9.30 Green St car park , Healesville.(market site)

Route clockwise, Healesville King Lake rd - Myers Creek rd. Don't know the exact stats cos didn't have Strava switched on last time I did it. My guess less than 40km and about 600 m climbing. Not steep. Nothing more than 4 or 5%. if its steeper I'll shout coffee. 

Coffee at the much over rated Beechworth Bakery - if we have to !

THURSDAY MAY 9 THE NONGS

Rendezvous:  9.00 am Hermons Corner or 9.30 Kallista fire station.

Route:  Upper Coonara rd, then the easier part of The Wall to Olinda, Silvan rd, Olinda Creek rd to Kalorama, then the tourist rd back to Olinda & Ferny Creek followed by Sherbrooke rd  back to the fire station. Coffee ? who knows - perhaps Mt.Dandenong.  Distance about 40 km ? unless you want to go down to Montrose and up. Perhaps not.  Altitude probably nudging 1000m.

The Alexandra ride. Participants: Kerri, Kirsten, Jon, Jurgen. Brass monkey temperature & fog to start off but turned into a beautiful day. Great ride. One of the best gravel rides that we do. Wheregarwen rd in particular was delightful to ride along. We chewed up the hills like pros

Belgrave/ Birdland /Lysterfield loop Tuesday 23rd.

Start Belgrave railway station 9.00 a.m.

Route : Tecoma, Birdsland, Lysterfield, Churchill Drv. Brady rd. Dandy Creek and FernyCreek bike paths. FTG, Belgrave .About 48 km,  540 m.  Gravel or MTB best.
