Ride: Thursday 7th June

After some heavy climbing on the ride to Four Bros Rock on Tuesday, where Werner rode without cleats to fit his pedals and so had to contend with foot slippage throughout the ride, it was decided that a pampering ride was called for. 

(Big thanks to Kerri and Werner who brought food and hot drinks. Just a few extra kilos to carry to help on the hills)

SO. Flatlands, here we come.

Headed via diverse means to Mordialloc. Road bikes ok.

Plan A:

Meet at Gembrook with dirt bikes at 0930. Heading to Ashlanding. It may be a case of the blind leading the blind.

Plan B:

If, when we gaggle at Gembrook, and if someone knows the way, we may drive further to Mortimer Park and ride to 4 Bros. Rock in lieu of Ashlanding.

Weather looks OK (if the BOM gets it right finally), so we are headed for a flatlanders ride.

Start at the Stud Rd. stadium at 0930.

Heading beachside by diverse and convoluted routes, ably navigated by Helen. So we can all blame her.

Length? A piece of string. Anything from 40 to 70km depending on what whim takes you. All sealed surfaces, so tandems welcome.
