Alexander Triple Bypass

An octuplet gathered at Anderson for the triple banger. Kirsten and Helen had recceed the route the day before and were encouraging about the easiness that lay before us. Good news for Peter ("No, I have not had a heart attack") P, who'd successfully avoided riding for the past three weeks.
First leg, a warm up 15k to Wollamai race course. Jurgen, Mike and Jon took it easy as recovery from Tuesday's masochistic ride was not fully complete. Didn't deter John M nor Werner of course. They set out to challenge all speed records.
Second leg to Wonthaggi. 30k of sticky sand, minor hills a slighly warmish sun and NO WIND! Lunch at the some cafe where we dilligently obeyed social distancing requirements, especially as the local gendarme was standing right behind us.
Third leg and the pelaton had shrunk to six with John M and Peter D claiming better offers elsewhere. So, ..... this was where the hills were located!!!!!*#@*  Still, chips at San Remo, some drone footage by Mike at sundry points, then time to rest the bum and go home.

Thank you Kirsten and Helen.

Late lunch at San Remo

Seagull time !
